Collaborative Law is a process for resolving issues in divorce that removes the case from the Courts and relies on teams of lawyers, accountants and therapists to analyze issues and help avoid unneeded conflict while resolving financial and custody issues on an agreed basis.   We have found that the full, formal collaborative law process is most helpful in those cases where the issues are complex and the property involved is of a high enough value to warrant the expense of using a team of additional professionals. Unfortunately, not every client can afford the expense of a formal collaborative process, but we apply the key principles of collaborative law to try and reach agreements in every case in which it is possible.
